Senior Consultant, Boiler & Machinery System, Permanent Job, Isle of Man

An established engineering and risk consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Boiler and Machinery Consultant to provide technical consulting services to a varied client base, this role offers the opportunity to deliver specialist expertise and client support while contributing to high quality risk management solutions.

The Role

A senior technical consulting position providing specialist advice to clients on mechanical and utility systems

• Evaluate boilers pressure vessels electrical and mechanical assets and facility utility systems


• Develop loss estimates including Probable Maximum Loss and Maximum Foreseeable Loss scenarios


• Conduct loss control surveys for prospects and existing clients


• Prepare reports in line with established formats and quality standards


• Ensure adherence to agreed budgets and client service time frames


• Maintain client satisfaction and contribute to contract retention


• Participate in proposals stewardship reports and client meetings


• Support sales and marketing efforts where required and collaborate with account service teams


• Maintain technical service capabilities across all core service areas

About You

An experienced technical professional with proven expertise in boiler and machinery consulting

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline and demonstrative professional experience in a similar field


• Recognised technical expertise with experience servicing major accounts


• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to manage client relationships effectively


• Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Capable of managing workload efficiently and providing training or peer review for colleagues
