- Provide a legal and business information enquiry service using both printed and electronic resources
- Deliver induction training for new staff and provide training to fee earners in legal research and online resources
- Assist with legal tasks to support client matters and liaise with clients and third parties via email phone and meetings
- Produce current awareness updates including monthly library newsletters Manx judgment summaries and quarterly corporate updates
- Manage and develop the librarys information resources and library management system including Soutron
- Oversee the library budget and negotiate with suppliers of information resources
- Ensure collections remain relevant and up to date through active collection management and acquisition
