Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for victims and witnesses of crime or other traumatic events
- Conduct needs assessments and provide early interventions/support
- Offer emotional support and safeguarding guidance
- Refer individuals to appropriate services (inc those provided by the VSIOM Team)
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement
What We are Looking For
- Experience of working with individuals in a victim support, social work, or crisis response role/setting
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice and person-centred support
- Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive situations
- Working confidentially
- Ability to work within a team
- Willingness to undertake training to grow knowledge and experience
